In February 2025, Pendulum Legal P.C. attended the Center for Genomics & Systems Biology New York University Abu Dhabi Institute, where Artist-in-Residence and Australian Sam Nester, looks at representing elements of data and research of unique geographic landscapes and human biology through music. This is done in as much detail as possible, where Sam produces sound representations of the geometry and genetic elements of the human genome and the comparisons of the sounds of healthy coral reefs with those affected by climate change.
It is innovative collaborations between areas of study such as these that Pendulum Legal P.C. looks out for in new subject matter that may come into the Intellectual Property world, as well as inspiration for our scientific and artistic backgrounds:
