Sarah Teresa Haddad is the Managing Partner of Pendulum Legal PC with Gary Howard Abrams.
Ms. Haddad is admitted to the New York State Bar, the United States Eastern District of New York, the United States Southern District of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Sarah started her career as an Australian Barrister at Law, which is an independent specialist advocate trained in the courtroom, in commissions of inquiry, and in alternative forms of dispute resolution; where she provided objective advice on particular legal problems for clients, other lawyers, businesses, and governments. As a former Barrister at Law, Ms. Haddad was one of two thousand top legal specialists in the country. This involved applying in complex cases the Law of Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Professional Ethics.
Prior to focusing strictly on Intellectual Property Law at Pendulum Legal PC, she was a commercial litigator and hearing officer in New York City in Breach of Contract claims, Insurance Law coverage disputes, Intellectual Property Law in combination with Civil Litigation, Administrative Law disputes, and Medical Appeals.
Ms. Haddad graduated with an American Bar Association Accredited Juris Doctor in 2008.
Sarah focused on Patent Law, Patent Practice Skills, Patent Litigation, Intellectual Property Law, Antitrust Law, Trademark Law, and Compliance in the Information Age at Fordham University School of Law, where she graduated with a uniquely crafted specialization of Intellectual Property Law in a Master of Laws.
Prior to entering the legal field, Sarah carried out extensive studies and experimentation in Histology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Pharmacology, Neuroanatomy, Molecules, Metabolism, and Cells, Drugs and People, Physiology, Molecular Pharmacology and Toxicology, Human Cellular Physiology, Neuro-Cardiovascular Pharmacology, and Heart and Circulation, in a United States Equivalent Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacology and Physiology at the University of Sydney, Australia. This background supports Sarah’s current work in Intellectual Property Law in technical innovation and science.
Ms. Haddad has been a lifelong artist and works in her own art studios in Manhattan New York City, where she focuses on Art and Music Composition. Sarah’s artistic work is greatly influenced by American artist Edward Hopper, who took her on a journey of realism across America and the world. It is this realism that reflects Sarah’s goals of being natural and genuine in expressing the truth of a character in the arts, and to keep imaginations alive through creativity. This gives Sarah motivation to protect and maintain the creative steps of others through Intellectual Property Law.
Gary Howard Abrams brings his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen to his legal practice. He has employed numerous lawyers, paralegal professionals, and support staff. Prior to his Bar admission in New York State Gary was in private industry as a factory owner in Haiti, wherein, hundreds of people were employed. Mr. Abrams dealt with foreign governmental regulations, international shipping, tariffs and American business sales and promotions. Gary utilizes his legal and business expertise combined with exceptional managerial, relationship building, and interpersonal communications skills to empower his colleagues and staff to excel in their endeavors. Gary comes from an artistic family where his mother Edith Lilian Abrams was an opera singer, artist, and sculptor. The picture to the left of this text or above this text is a sculpture of Gary by Edith, which represents some of her best work.
